Summer Job - General Helper

Reporting to the Finishing Supervisor, you will be helping manufacture wind towers by preparing the sections, and maintaining environment and equipment.

THE GENERAL HELPER MUST BE ABLE TO:

• Prepare wind tower sections so they are ready for shipping;
• Maintain cleanliness of the floors and the yard around the facility;
• Help Material Handlers during the loading/ handling of tower sections;
• Maintain equipment in a clean, safe and operable conditions;
• Perform small mechanical assembly tasks, repairs and duties;
• Perform a general manual labor including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials and equipment;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

VALUED SKILLS:

• Manual work skills;
• Manual dexterity;
• Physical endurance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time;
• Lift and carry between 30-50 lbs.

ASSETS:

• Prior manufacturing/industrial work experience is preferred.
